On Saturday April 19, 2012, Students at the California Martial Arts Academy in Ladera Ranch, CA will be participating in CMA’s first Kung Fu for a Cure Kick-a-thon event. The event is help to support one of their own members that is currently battling breast cancer. All proceeds will go to help the Aguilar family through their time of need.
The kung fu students of CMA have been been practicing their kicks and setting goals of up to 300 kicks this Saturday. Some students have received flat donations for their efforts and others have received a per kick donation for the upcoming event.
We’ve been involved in the community of Ladera Ranch for the past 6 years. Our instructors do the best we can to lead by example and support the community that has supported us all these years.
The event will kick off on Saturday April 10, 2012 at 12 noon. Come support the kids and feel free to help where you can.
